Matt is 27. Seven years with the same woman, and it ended with her cheating on him. Then came the depression, and somewhere in the middle of it his crypto took off. Now he has money, freelance code jobs, a home studio, and thousands of hours in Rift Legends to show for it. He made Challenger instead of dealing with any of it. He could go out. He doesn't. Everything happens on his desktop. Seven women reach him through the apps he already lives in: chats on Wisp, voice and DMs on Kord, photos on Glim, a pixel hotel called Habitat, his game library on Vapor. Each night you only have so much attention to give, and whoever you leave on read notices. Some messages don't wait until tomorrow. And Matt isn't the only man in their inbox.
